The Sound of One Hand Healing

When Takeda Mokurai ( 1854-1930) Master of the Kennin Temple in Kyoto was asked by a 12-year-old protege to do sanzen, he told the boy, ” You can hear the sound of two hands when they clap together. Now show me the sound of one hand clapping.” More than ten times the boy visited Morukai with different sounds. All were wrong. After a year of pondering, the boy finally entered true meditation and transcended all sounds. ” I could collect no more”, he explained later. ” So I reached the soundless sound.”

If a tree falls in the forest, does it make a sound?

Of course it doesn’t. It causes a vibration, a wave in the air, which radiates out from the impact. To become a sound, that wave, moving through the air, must activate an eardrum to produce the effect – a sound. What is necessary is the stimulus to the eardrum, activating neurons in the brain, so the person hears a sound. A sound wave is not a sound until someone hears it.

Why is this important to our health?

Although sound, magnetic and electronic vibrations are invisible, they can have extraordinary effects on an organism. We know that telephone transmissions can penetrate concrete blocks, and we can converse with a smartphone, even in an elevator. A simple piece of plastic can emit a frequency to open a hotel room door, and although we cannot see radio frequencies, we can listen to our favorite station broadcasting from miles away.

The Power of Sound

Vibrato is the tremulous effect imparted by some vocal or instrumental music. At one period of English history, singers with pronounced vibrato were banned from public performance because listeners would go into an altered state. People who enjoy opera know of this altered state induced by singers like Luciano Pavarotti or Maria Callas. And we are familiar with the power of certain frequencies to shatter a wine glass.

Conversely, we know of the dangers to health of 5G transmissions. Recently some airports demanded that 5G towers be removed from proximity to landing strips because of interference with air controllers’ signals to pilots.

As far back as 500 B.C., the singing bowls of Tibet have been used for healing and consciousness transformation. Pythagoras of Samos, in ancient Greece (578-495 BC) studied the geometry of sound. He used harmonics to heal aberrant emotions and maladies. To Pythagoras, music was medicine. Dr. David Simon, medical director of the Deepak Chopra center in California, recently found that the sound of Tibetan bowls is chemically metabolized into endogenous opiates that act on the body as painkillers and healing agents that may be effective in treating cancer. New Age practitioners would not be surprised at the results of Dr. Simon’s research.

But recently in 2018, in Davos Switzerland, the power of sound therapy moved dramatically into the mainstream. At the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF), Antoine Jerusalem, Professor of Engineering at the University of Oxford, announced: “Non-invasive neuromodulation- changing brain activity without surgery – looks poised to usher in a new era of health care. Breakthroughs could include better management of Alzheimer’s disease, reducing migraine pain, or even reversing cognitive disorders caused by brain injury. The principle is to focus ultrasound waves into a region in the brain. This can change the activity of neurons that have gone wild, for example, in epilepsy. ”

The Brick Wall

The 2021 Oscar Award for best actor was won by Anthony Hopkins, an alumnus of Hippocrates Wellness, for his performance in The Father, a film charting the labyrinthian experience of dementia through the mind of someone suffering from it. This movie accurately depicts what an increasing number of aging victims suffer. Although the father pessimistically ends a life of pain in an assisted care facility, there is now some good news for those facing the potential of Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s disease.

Dr. Joel Wallach, author of Dead Doctors Don’t Lie, claims that Alzheimer’s is a physician-caused disease initiated by recommendations against cholesterol and saturated fats in the diet. It is not genetic. Cholesterol is an essential nutrient and a component of the structural membranes of all cells. It is a primary component of the brain (myelin) and nerve cells.

Dr. Wallach predicts that 14 million Americans will die by 2025 of Alzheimer’s unless it is adequately treated. He recommends antioxidants and omega-3 essential fatty acids, which can reduce the disease by 80%. In addition, he contends that the prescription of statin drugs to lower patients’ blood cholesterol causes Parkinson’s. In support of this thesis, more than 2300 Lipitor lawsuits have been filed in South Carolina on behalf of individuals claiming Pfizer knew of risks associated with their statin medication. Even the World Health Organization (WHO) declared statin drugs can cause heart attack and stroke. Revenues from statin drugs have exceeded $1 trillion. Dr. Dwayne Graveline’s book, Statin Drugs Side Effects and the Misguided War on Cholesterol, shows that the diet fads of the 1970s and 80s got it wrong. While all the rage, low cholesterol and low-fat diets replaced much-needed good fats with sugar, chemicals, and statin drugs.

Recently, the University College London concluded that “There remains no clear evidence that serotonin levels are responsible for depression.” The study, spanning decades, “suggests that depression is not caused by a chemical imbalance and calls into question what antidepressants do.”

Blood Donor

America has a history of physician-caused morbidities. In the 18th century, doctors bled their patients monthly, and barbers, too. This is where the red and white barber poles outside haircutters’ shops originate. Benjamin Rush, a respected physician and signer of the Declaration of Independence in 1776, was an avid blood letter. In 1799, when the father of the country, George Washington, fell ill with epiglottitis – inflammation of the throat, Dr. Rush recommended bloodletting rather than a tracheotomy. As Washington struggled to breathe, five pints of blood, half the total in his body, were taken. And on December 14, the national hero, who had survived smallpox and bullet wounds during the War of Independence, went into hypovolemic shock and died at 67.

The Stamp of Approval

The reason the endorsement of ultrasound therapy by the World Economic Forum in 2018 is significant is that the organization, with annual meetings in Davos, is the most prestigious body, assembling over 2500 heads of state, business executives, and government and media personalities. To many, the WEF is the voice of the future, tackling the world’s most challenging issues. Climate change, pandemics, the future of technology, and the introduction of digital currency are the topics of concern.

The influence of the WEF is immense. Klaus Schwab, a German engineer, founded the WEF in 1971. His daughter, Nicole Schwab, co-founded the Gender Equality Project. In 2010, Schwab published the Global Redesign Report recommending that the world is best managed by a self-selected coalition of multinational corporations and governments, including the United Nations. In 1993 Schwab launched a program named Global Leaders for Tomorrow. Much like the Rhodes scholarship program, this program recruited promising young people for a five-year mentoring and support interaction designed to provide “the voice for the future and the hopes for the next generation.” Business Week’s Bruce Nussbaum described the group as “the most exclusive, private social network in the world.”

Schwab’s protegés include Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, whom Schwab has known since 1992. Others mentored by the Global Leaders Program include Angela Merkel; Chancellor of Germany(2005-2021), Justin Trudeau; Prime Minister of Canada, Elon Musk; owner of Tesla, Mark Zuckerberg; Founder of Facebook, Jimmy Wales; founder of Wikipedia; Maria Bartiromo; host of Wall Street on Fox Business, Garry Newsom; Governor of California, Sergey Brin; co-founder of Google, Pete Buttigieg; U.S. Secretary of Transportation and Nikki Haley, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations.

Larry Fink was one of Schwab’s Global Leaders and is now on the board of trustees of the WEF. Fink is also the CEO of BlackRock, the investment firm with over $10 trillion in assets invested in technology, media, and pharmaceutical corporations. Since Black Rock has at least partial ownership in almost every significant corporation worldwide, leaders pay attention to what he says. Fink authored a letter in 2022 to C.E.Os. of corporations across the world. Fink told the CEOs, “Those who decarbonize will be those who lead. Leveraging the power of actionable environmental social and government data is crucial in this global transition towards a net zero world.”

Another startling announcement from the WEF was in Pekka Lundmark’s speech at the WEF 2022 annual meeting. Lundmark is the CEO of Nokia. He said the smartphone will not be the most common interface by 2030. Instead, smartphones will likely be implanted right into your body by then. Lundmark believes that within eight years, people will transition from smartphones to face wearables like glasses utilizing 6G. “Intelligent knowledge systems will be combined by computation capabilities to make humans endlessly more efficient and redefine how we live, work, and take care of the planet. Even though there is still a lot of innovation in 5G, Nokia Bell Labs has already begun the research work on 6G.”

Brave New World

6G networks support applications such as virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) ubiquitous, instant communication, pervasive intelligence, and the Internet of Things (IoT). Simply, this is the partnering of Artificial Intelligence (AI) with communication. Unfortunately, scientists see implants are the most efficient means of executing this partnership. In January 2022, at the annual meeting of WEF, Dr. Michio Kaku was interviewed in one of the sessions. He said, “The future of the internet is not digitalit is neuro. We’re in the process of digitizing the human brain so that we’re compatible with the internet. We can already record memories in primates. In fact, at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology they have created false memories. Next will be Alzheimer’s patients; we’ll create a brain chip, and with a push of a button, memories will flood into their minds. Eventually, the internet will become brain net.”

Along with the incorporation of AI into communication technology with 5G and eventually 6G, the internet will evolve into Web 3.0, which incorporates not only AI but also virtual reality into the internet. We are all familiar with AI encounters on the internet; real-time translation is one. Users are now profiled and sent specific advertisements for products AI has determined will be of interest. In addition, we know Facebook, Twitter and Google have developed AI algorithms that censor sites or communication considered controversial. So 6G and the Web 3.0 are simply the evolution of AI interacting with users on a much more sophisticated level using blockchain technology.

Current Technologies

AI technology has entered a new phase over the past few years. Instead of the AI algorithms learning from humans, they are now teaching themselves. But in this brave new world, the next generation of healing technologies has arrived, bringing hope and support to those formerly dependent simply on pain depressants to suffer through the incurables. For example, as people age, bone breakdown can outpace bone formation. At the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), Dr. Amy Gelmi has demonstrated that high-frequency sound waves can turn stem cells derived from a patient’s fat into bone cells quickly and efficiently. The soundwaves are generated on a low-cost microchip device developed by RMIT. Elon Musk initiated NeuroLink, intending to surgically implant “gossamer-thin wires” into a person’s brain to provide the ability to play a song without headphones at the speed of thought.

Musk predicts his implants, by the end of 2022, will allow tetraplegics and quadriplegics to function again. High-intensity focused ultrasound therapy (HIFU) was provided to 625 men with prostate cancer. Researchers at the University Hospital in London found that 93% of patients remained cancer-free 5 years after treatment. As early as 1981, biologist Helene Grimal partnered with composer Fabien Maman to study the relationship between sound waves on living cells. Using a nine-note Ionian scale, they observed that, when exposed to sound, cancer cells lost structural integrity. Working with women with breast cancer over one month, three and a half hours a day, sound therapy resulted in recovery and remission.

Energy Medicine

Like the tree falling in the forest, Pythagoras’ music required the intervening eardrum to create a sound. About 100 years ago, Royal Raymond Rife, a California scientist, discovered that vibration alone could silently and comfortably heal without side effects. On December 27, 1931, the L.A. Times reported that Dr. Rife had developed an instrument that applied electric current to a breast cancer culture. Targeting the area with correct frequencies, he isolated the cancer virus and destroyed the cancer cells. In the 1987 book, The Cancer Cure That Worked, Barry Lynes documents the breakthrough. This revolutionary technology was suppressed for almost a century by competing financial interests – particularly the pharmaceutical industry. This is why the announcement of Professor Jerusalem is so welcome.

For over 40 years, the founders of Hippocrates Wellness, Anna Maria and Brain Clement pioneered the assembly of state-of-the-art energy medicine technologies. Musicians themselves, the founders, comprehend the impact of music on healing. The Hippocrates Wellness campus showers guests with an environment of ambient classical music. In addition, over a dozen of the latest energy medicine technologies offer treatments in comfort and privacy. More than 1000 frequency protocols stimulate healing over many guests’ specific concerns.

The Positive, Uplifting Vibrations of Sound

BRAINTAP, an American patented technology that provides complete brain support, features sound from binaural beats, which help guide the mind to a deep relaxation state. More than 400 individual programs feature specific training in brain wave support through the delivery of gamma, alpha, beta, theta, and delta waves. These tracks, assisted by the addition of light and specific frequencies, can help mitigate dementia, brain fog, sleeplessness, addiction, and stress reduction. This sophisticated device can help children with cognitive challenges such as ADD, ADHD, and autism. A true vanguard in brain support, it is used by athletes and peak performers to speed recovery from exertion. Daily usage of BrainTAP in the Regeneration Program at Hippocrates has improved Brain wave activity in several guests across all age groups.

QRS (Quantron Resonance System) is a German device that, for the past 20 years, has applied FDA-approved Pulse Electromagnetic Field technology to help relieve pain, depression and anxiety, incontinence, and brain cancer by gently recharging the cells with electromagnetic energy. QRS also employs resonance frequencies directed to the cells, increasing their energy production at the mitochondrial level.

CoMra Therapy (Healing with Coherent Multi Radiances) is a Russian device that uniquely combines four different radiances: low-level infrared laser, LED lights, electromagnetism, and sound. The combination of these four radiances maximizes the potential of cells to regenerate. Sound is key in this process because it induces balance in the mechanical vibrations, increasing the speed of molecular transport and enzyme efficiency in the body, thereby accelerating the repair of cells and tissues. Portable units for home use are available for sale, and many are on promotion.
